The EEO Section is responsible for assuring that the Department follows its policy of equal opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age,  and disability.

The Section also certifies Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and ensures compliance with the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
