LITTLE ROCK (3-22)  The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Location Public Hearing in Carlisle to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 13, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carlisle Elementary School, 707 E. 5^th Street, in Carlisle.

      Plans call for improving 1.4 miles of Highway 13, possibly on new location, extending from Highway 70 in Carlisle northward to Interstate 40.
