LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK AND JACKSONVILLE


    LITTLE ROCK (9-7) 

Crews working on two Central Arkansas projects will require lane closures on Sunday and Monday, September 9 and 10, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials. As always, the work will be weather permitting,

            Beginning Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m., crews will have intermittent 15-minute lane closures along eastbound I-40 between Levy and Burns Park (mile markers 150 to 153) to install overhead signs. The work will be completed and all lanes will be open by 1:00 p.m.

            On Monday night, beginning at 7:00 p.m., crews will close one northbound lane of Highway 67/167 near the Vandenberg Interchange (between mile markers 11 and 12) in Jackson ville to move concrete barrie r walls and restripe the roadway. Lanes will reopen by 6:00 a.m. The work is part of the frontage road and ramp relocation project north of the Vandenberg Interchange.

As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
