LITTLE ROCK (2-5)

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Paragould to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 412, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 19^th, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Paragould Junior High School , 1701 West Court Street, in Paragould .

     Improvements to Highway 412 feature two bypass alternatives to the south and one alternative to the north of Paragould .  Those alternatives will be presented at the meeting.  Issues related to improving the existing highway will also be discussed.
