       NEWS EVENT NOTIFICATION

WHO:                         Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials, representatives of the Ark ansas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors and others.

WHAT:                       A news conference to kick off national Work Zone Safety Awareness week as officials discuss tips to use while working and driving in roadway construction zones.

WHEN:                       Monday, April 7 at 1:30 pm.

WHERE:                    The event will take place in North Little Rock on the corner of East Broadway (Highway 70) and Smothers Avenue (just east of I-30).

WHY:                          April is recognized around the country as a time for Work Zone Safety Awareness.
