     The Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Blytheville to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 18, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15^th, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blytheville Middle School , 700 West Chickasawba Street , in Blytheville .

     Plans call for constructing a railroad overpass on Highway 18 in the downtown area.  Two alternative locations for the project will be on display at the meeting.
