LITTLE ROCK (7-15) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Portia to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 63, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, July 24^th, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Portia Community Center , 505 W. Front Street , in Portia.

     Plans call for widening approximately three miles of Highway 63 to five lanes, extending from Portia eastward to Highway 63B near Hoxie.
