LITTLE ROCK (7-17) 

     Crews doing a routine inspection of the Interstate 40 Mississippi River Bridge between West Memphis and Memphis will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     The work will require the westbound, outside lane to be closed beginning Tuesday, July 22nd and continuing through Thursday, July 24th, weather permitting.  The lane closure will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

     As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
