LITTLE ROCK (9-10) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Pine Bluff to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 79B (University Avenue), according to AHTD officials.

     Plans call for widening 1.6 miles of Highway 79B to five lanes, beginning at Highway 65B and extending northward. 

     The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Barraque Baptist Church , located at 1800 W. Pullen Street , in Pine Bluff .
