LITTLE ROCK (10-30)  

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing in Springdale to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 265, according to AHTD officials.

     Plans call for widening Highway 265 to five lanes.  Bike lanes and sidewalks are also included in the design plans.  The project will extend approximately 1.5 miles from Highway 264 southward to Randall Wobbe Lane.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 6th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bayyari Elementary School , located at 2199 Scottsdale Street, in Springdale .
