LITTLE ROCK (12-5)  

    Crews doing repairs to Highway 67/167 in Sherwood will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Crews leveling the pavement on the north end of the Woodruff Creek Bridge near MileMarker 4, in Sherwood, will require two northbound lanes to be closed Monday night, December 8th and Tuesday night, December 9^th.  Lane closures will occur each night from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning, weather permitting.  One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

     In addition, the northbound Brookswood Drive Exit will be closed during these hours.  Motorists wanting to exit at Brookswood are encouraged to use the Wildwood Exit.  Electronic message boards will be in place to direct traffic.

     As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
