LITTLE ROCK (2-9) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Springdale to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 265, according to AHTD officials.

     Plans call for widening 1.25 miles of Highway 265 to five lanes in Springdale.  The project will begin at Springdale’s southern city limits and will extend northward to Highway 412. 

     The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 24th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jones Center for Families, located at 922 East Emma Avenue, in Springdale.  The meeting will take place in Room 226, the Kansas City Room.
