Crews working on two area projects will require upcoming lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

On Sunday, March 15, workers will stop traffic for short intervals, not to exceed 15-minutes, on the northbound side of Highway 67/167 between Highway 440 and Redmond Road to hang overhead signs. The work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and be completed by 3:00 p.m.

A single eastbound lane closure on I-40 between the I-430 and Crystal Hill on ramps will occur daily between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from Wednesday, March 18 through Friday, March 20. Crews will be widening the outside shoulder under the new Crystal Hill Overpass.

All work is weather permitting. As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
