LITTLE ROCK (4-30) 

 Crews performing a routine inspection on the Interstate 40 Bridge over the Mississippi River between West Memphis and Memphis will require a lane closure Tuesday, May 5^th through Thursday, May 7th, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

 The inspection will require the westbound, outside lane to be closed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

 As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.  Motorists may monitor live traffic flow through the area by visiting www.arkansashighways.com and clicking on “Roads.”
