LITTLE ROCK (5-15) 

 Crews performing a routine inspection on the Interstate 40 Bridge over the Mississippi River between West Memphis and Memphis will require a lane closure beginning Monday, May 18^th through Thursday, May 21^st, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

 Weather permitting, the inspection will require the eastbound, outside lane to be closed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

 In addition, deck maintenance on the Interstate 55 Bridge over the Mississippi River between Memphis and West Memphis will require an alternating lane closure beginning Tuesday, May 19^th and continuing through Thursday, May 21^st. 

A lane closure on the northbound side will alternate between the outside and inside lanes each day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
