By authority of Act 445 of 1973, this division administers the State Aid County Road Program in cooperation with the counties. Division personnel determine eligibility of projects and furnish administrative and engineering assistance to counties. Federal-Aid Highway Funds, Federal-Aid Bridge Replacement Funds, and State Aid Road Funds are matched by local funds to construct much needed county road improvements.
